Relations among External Self-Management, Reminiscence Functions, and Subjective Well-being of the Elderly

Abstract

|
This study was to investigate relations among RF, ESM, SWB of the elderly. The questionnaires were responded by 241 male and female elders aged 65 or older. For one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis were conducted. RF showed a difference depending on age, religion. ESM showed a difference depending on gender, age, economic level, and religion. SWB showed a difference depending on economic level only. RF, ESM, and SWB had a significant correlations. ESM fully mediated between RF and SWB. This study provides the information that factor affecting the SWB of elderly. Expected to revitalize the researches related to the intervention for the negative affect of the elderly.
